Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to the LeafCal mobile application (Package Name: com.zz.leafcal) and associated services operated by ZuzuVerse (hereinafter referred to as "Service Provider", "we", "us", or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using LeafCal, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them thoroughly before utilizing the Application.

1. Important Health & Fitness Disclaimer

LEAFCAL IS NOT A MEDICAL APPLICATION AND DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL ADVICE.

The contents of the Application, including estimated calorie targets, macronutrient calculations, body mass index (BMI) projections, diet model guides (such as Lean Cut, Aggressive Calorie Deficits, or Water Fasting), and artificial intelligence photo analyses, are intended strictly for general informational, educational, and fitness tracking purposes.

3. License to Use & Intellectual Property

Subject to your adherence to these Terms, the Service Provider grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited license to download and execute LeafCal on your compatible mobile device.

All intellectual property rights, trademarks, application branding ("LeafCal", "L-CAL"), source code, database structures, graphic assets, and user interface designs belong exclusively to ZuzuVerse. Reverse engineering, decompiling, extracting source code, distributing derivative works, or copying application features without explicit written consent is strictly prohibited.

4. In-App Purchases, Tokens, Promo Codes & Subscriptions

LeafCal offers digital features, token balance packages, rewarded ad credits, and monthly unlimited access subscriptions through the in_app_purchase and backend APIs:

5. Account Registration, Security & User Conduct

LeafCal allows you to use the Application as a Guest or voluntarily register an account (via Email, Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or third-party authentication). If you register an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You are responsible for keeping your mobile device secure. The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking or rooting your mobile phone, as doing so compromises operating system security, exposes your device to malware, and may cause LeafCal to malfunction or fail.

You agree not to misuse LeafCal, disrupt backend server endpoints (kcal-backend-1.onrender.com), inject malicious payloads into cloud databases, or bypass token entitlement systems. You may request account deletion at any time in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Internet Connection & Mobile Network Data Charges

Features such as AI food scan, barcode lookup, cloud meal sync, and rewarded video ads require an active Wi-Fi or cellular internet connection. You acknowledge responsibility for any data carrier charges, including mobile data roaming fees incurred while using LeafCal.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZuzuVerse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data loss, personal injury resulting from unverified nutritional reliance, or operational interruption arising out of your use or inability to use LeafCal.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ZuzuVerse, its developers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and legal expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Application.

10. Updates, Modifications & Service Termination

The Service Provider reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue features of LeafCal at any time. Software updates may be required to maintain compatibility with new operating system versions. The Service Provider may terminate access or cease providing LeafCal without prior notice.

11. Digital Services Act (DSA) Compliance

For users in the European Union, LeafCal adheres to applicable requirements under the Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065):

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, excluding conflict of law rules, subject to mandatory local consumer rights in your region.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions periodically. Updated terms will be posted on this page with an effective date. Continued use of LeafCal constitutes agreement to the updated Terms.
